Hey everyone!

Remember the awful professor? Well, he found some time to go through my term paper and denied it, of course. Did not see that one coming. He also called me a smartass, in between the lines, for trying to make my own displays. Welcome to our school system, everyone. I just hope the weather stays hot like it is, because that heart attack is just behind his fat ass.

Another thing, when I opened up the donations tab, I said I need to solve some issues out with Paypal, before you can all donate through there. Well, guess what? Nothing has been solved. The problem is that I created a new account, and then it keeps saying that the password is wrong, when I know for a fact that it is the correct one. So I contacted the support, and they did fuck all, they were of no help whatsoever. So that got me even more pissed, and I got a new email and made another account. Well, guess what, that one keeps saying that it is a wrong password too! So Paypal obviously has an issue, but they just act like nothing is wrong on their side. Therefore, Paypal will not be available for donations for quite some time, maybe even never, because I am pissed and do not want a bunch of charlatans to make % out of each donation.

The last thing I want to talk about is a bit more positive. Remember when I promised you all bookmarks? Well, I will probably get them printed this or the next month, I found a deal that is just right. So that means that I will probably open up a store tab, where you will be able to buy one (do not worry, they will be cheap). I will give away some too, but more on that when I actually have them all in my hand.

This is all for this week. Remember to like and share as it helps me reach more people. Also remember to click that follow button, if you like my content.

Hey everyone!

As my nightmare called life continues, yet another professor pissed me off. He declined my term paper about Malta, because he wanted me to add more cartographical display to it. This may not seem like an issue, but it is actually a pretty big one. There are basically zero to none displays about Malta. He even searched them up himself, and had the guts to tell me that if I do not find any, I will have to redo my term paper. So you give me an option to choose this country, and after I write 40 pages about it, you tell me that YOU KNOW that the displays are not available? But you know, I said fuck it, if nothing else, I will make them myself. I have then spent hours upon hours to research and find what I believe to be, the correct material. So, I have put it into the paper and handed it in last week, thinking that he will take 5 minutes of his time, to check them out. WRONG! He simply said that he will not have the time to check my paper until Monday (today), which is the day of the exam. He offered no explanation as to why not. So I basically cannot take the exam until august, because his fat ass does not want to take his precious little time to check out what I have sent him. Now I know for a fact that he did this on purpose. He is the type of person that does not like himself nor does he like anybody around him. He is just pure evil. And he is a prime example of why karma does not exist. If karma did exist, he would already be dead for the past 20 years.

In other news, make sure to follow my Instagram and Twitter accounts. Tomorrow, there is a charity concert that I organized and I will probably annoy the hell out of you with pictures from it. So yeah, if you want to see months of hard work in a few pictures, make sure to stick around. I will also include them in next week’s Gibberish, so those of you who do not have Instagram or Twitter will not be missing out on anything.

Hey everyone!

So last week freaking sucked. The school year is over and I ran into a problem. One of my professors did not have me in his records (mind you, he only had lectures for the subject), which means that I will now have to take the exam instead of getting a grade from the work I submitted. This means that my essays that I aced are worth nothing, and I threw all those hours of writing straight out the window. I would be mad, if I actually gave a fuck.

I have many exams this week, so I will not be as active as you are used to. No worries though, you will get your article on Wednesday and a review on Friday, as per usual.

I also went back and read a few of my old posts and I cannot believe how much I sucked. I actually now feel like I am much better at writing than I was before, and I absolutely love the feeling. I do not have to stop to think about what to say, or which word would fit in the sentence. For those of you that did not know or simply forgot, I am not a native speaker of English, only a student, so this is quite an achievement for me, personally.

In other news, I am still desperately trying to make PayPal work so you guys can donate through there. I have so much issues it is unbelievable and the staff has not been of any help whatsoever. I will also need it if I want to sell blog related stuff one day, so I really hope it will be solved as soon as possible.

While checking my reviews, I noticed that I have not posted the review for The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson. I have read it like a month back, and I made the review in my head it seems, but never actually wrote it. So you will be getting it sometime soon, I belive in three weeks or so, since these two weeks are occupied by other reviews.

Anyway, this is all for this week. Remember to like and share as it helps me reach more people. Also remember to click that follow button, if you like my content.

Until next time,

High School Dance (How to Raise a Good Kid #2) – Starbuck O’Dwyer

shortd

This book is the culmination of a project that began shortly after my wife and I welcomed our son to the world. Like most first-time fathers, I felt a new and profound sense of responsibility and immediately became determined to pass along every lesson I believed was important… First, I made a list of the events of my childhood that taught me the most, the ones that made the biggest impressions, both good and bad. This exercise forced me to revisit many harrowing experiences such as batting zero in little league baseball, my chronic addiction to a blanket, my disastrously unsuccessful try-out for the role of Winthrop in The Music Man, and the time I mooned the entire sixth grade. I wanted to let my son know whatever hardship he might face; his father had already been there, learned something of value and survived.

review

So, you have read the first book? Well if you have not yet, then be sure to check out the first part – How to Raise a Good Kid. Is the second one worth the read? Let us cover a few points and we will see where it stands.
To start off, in its core, it is nowhere near the first book. While the first book was filled with humor right off the first page, this one is not. It has occasional funny moments, but is not nearly as humorous as the first book. That is not necessarily a bad thing. It shows author’s mental growth and development between writing the first and the second book. And the pick of the stories shows that too.
Stories are basically as good as before, only a bit more serious and a bit more “grown up”. They still bring up values with which each individual should grow, so that is still present and still as good as before. You can find yourself in some of the stories and the book reaches to you in an improved way compared to the first one. In that sense, author nailed it and this is definitely a book for every child to read.
I am giving it 7 out of 10, just because of the lack of humor. I know it is hard to keep writing book after book and make it funny each and every time, but I have met this author through the first book in a comedian way, so to lose that feeling in the second book is kind of a let down.

Book recommendation: 7/10
